Our mission is to inspire and motivate creative people, to feel a part of the creative community, and recognise fellow creatives and fans.

We want our customers to remember who they are and what they can achieve. ONSETSTAR Ltd was Created by our Director, Katie who started out in her childhood as a dancer, training in Ballet, Contemporary, and Street dance, and more genres into her early adult life. She was head-hunted by an agent at the age of 16 and performed and modeled around the UK at various music events.

 

Katie started her own company DANCEKANDI, at the age of 18 which provided dancers and entertainers to perform at various music events. By her mid-twenties, she dealt with the loneliness and difficulties that came with working in a creative and performing environment and decided to take a break from her business. Katie handed over the business to her partner and took a long break to focus on her mental health.

When she felt better, She returned to the creative and performance world but decided to enter the film and TV industry and went on to work in productions such as Netflix's Queen Charlotte, Bridgerton, The Witcher, BBC's His Dark Materials, and many more productions. Her experience and journey in these sectors highlighted that she was not alone and that many others in the creative and performance industry had struggled with similar mental health difficulties that come with being an artiste. Katie decided in support of her fellow creators, she has and has not met, ONSETSTAR Ltd was born.
